About

VERSATILE, ENERGETIC & ENTERTAINING!

Jay has been entertaining audiences all over Iowa and at many Des Moines area venues, such as Wellman's on Ingersoll, Mickey's Irish Pub Downtown, The Renaissance Savery Hotel, Bar Louie, three area Applebee's Restaurants, Johnny's Italian Steakhouse Altoona, The Hideout, Wellman's Pub & Rooftop, Dallas Center Fall Festival, Legends Field House, Saints Pubs, Corydon Old Settlers Festival, Pine Lakes Country Club, Urbandale Golf & Country Club, HyVee Market Grille, Lakeside Hotel Casino, and countless private parties and corporate events, such as the Des Moines Heart Ball.

For 15 years, Jay fronted the popular Arizona duo "THE BLENDERZ". Prior to that, he provided lead vocals, guitar and piano to several valley bands, as well as soloing since 1980. Also a songwriter, Jay composed a song entitled "Let It Light Our Way" for the Space Shuttle Childrens' Fund and wrote and engineered an original score for the independent film "WAR".

He has also written, performed and recorded numerous jingles and radio spots, including his recent writing and performance of a song for SEVEN CLANS CASINOS in Minnesota through his now-Iowa-based creative company, Vivid Gray, Inc.

Now, Jay is looking forward to meeting you at his next appearance somewhere in Iowa. Click here to find upcoming shows. Click here for a current playlist.
